I’m bummed. Tonight, Guttermouth was playing nearby and I wasn’t able to make the show. The first time I saw Guttermouth was with The Offspring and Big Drill Car in 1994 at an Elks Lodge/VFW-type place. It was a small building but it was an awesome show. The entire upstairs floor was shaking and the ceiling tiles were falling down on us.
The Offspring’s speakers kept cutting out, we hung out with Dexter and Noodles, two of the guys from Big Drill Car were giving pot-growing advice and Mark was making fun of everyone. It was fucking beautiful.
