Video: Guttermouth – “A Boy and His Love Gun”

I wanted to bring you a new song from California snot-punks Guttermouth.  The song titled “A Boy and His Love Gun” is from their new album The Whole Enchiladawhich releases next month on Bird Attack Records.

I’ve been a huge Guttermouth fan since early 1992 when I picked up their Puke and Balls 7″ singles and their first album (later all three were on the CD known as Full Length LP). In 1994, Guttermouth, who had recently signed to Nitro Records, was on tour with The Offspring and Big Drill Car and I was lucky enough to catch the show. Through the years, the band’s lineup has changed a lot (starting in the late 1990’s), so I was lucky to see the “original” core of the band when I saw them in ’94.

Enjoy the song and check out their new album!

Quick Hit: Missed The Guttermouth Show!

GuttermouthI’m bummed. Tonight, Guttermouth was playing nearby and I wasn’t able to make the show. The first time I saw Guttermouth was with The Offspring and Big Drill Car in 1994 at an Elks Lodge/VFW-type place. It was a small building but it was an awesome show. The entire upstairs floor was shaking and the ceiling tiles were falling down on us.

The Offspring’s speakers kept cutting out, we hung out with Dexter and Noodles, two of the guys from Big Drill Car were giving pot-growing advice and Mark was making fun of everyone. It was fucking beautiful.
